ADF
THE ANGLICAN DEVELOPMENT FUND
Don't be like the servant
who buried his talent!
Make your money work for the Master!
- ADF began in 1986. Since then over $1,000,000 will have been distributed to churches as grant allocations. So put your money where it will work!
- To help achieve a target of $100,000 annually for the mission of the Anglican church, keep your funds with Adelaide bank and ask to have all accounts designated "Anglican Development Fund (ADF)".
- When depositing with Adelaide Bank, request that your accounts be designated ADF and earn the full rate of interest applicable to your individual accounts. If you already have an Adelaide bank account, you may simply ask to designate them ADF
- Several different ADF accounts are available from Adelaide Bank: You will need to call in at a local branch to find an account type that suits your needs; ensure that the account you choose may be "designated to ADF"
- Simply call in at your local Adelaide Bank branch and they will do the rest for you. If you can't get to a branch you may deposit funds and access your account at any Australia Post outlet displaying the "giroPost" symbol - Australia-wide. Simply present your Adelaide Bank debit or credit card at the Australia Post counter and key in your Personal Identification Number (PIN) to make a transaction.
For more information on Adelaide Bank
simply call 13 22 20 any day
or visit their website.
- For more information on ADF, ask your parish ADF representative for "An ADF Brochure", contact John Dibben or contact me either by
email or "snailmail" at address below. Many Adelaide Bank officers have never been involved in setting up ADF designated accounts; let's change that situation!
- When I first heard about this brilliant way of making the thousands of dollars that go through my account work for the Church, I opened a personal Daily Access Account with a link to a Cash Card; then I asked all of my staff to open an account at the Local Branch of the Adelaide Bank, and asked them each to link their new account to ADF. To distribute the pay each week, I simply send the pay cheque with the paysheet to that branch and the teller distributes the pay and deposits it in each account; ADF immediately benefits from the deposits until my staff transfer money wherever they wish.
- I would commend the above to all who share my concern for the lack of funds for the work of the Church. When you deposit money iin an
Adelaide Bank account, it earns the appropriate interest for you, but if it is linked to ADF, this deposit is added to the grand total of ADF funds available for investment by the ADF Board.
- Simple!
- Your funds are secure and there is no disclosure of your assets; you continue to have complete and ready access to your funds, but the ADF benefits1
- Too hard?
